MEASURING TIPS
- To ensure an accurate reading when measuring, flatten your foot by shifting your weight forward.
- If your measurement is between two sizes, always move up to the larger size.
- Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
- Fit yourself at a similar time as when you will be wearing the footwear. For daily footwear, fit yourself when you’ve been on your feet all day because your feet have expanded.
- If you have a wide foot, please move up 1-2 size larger for better fit.
The Georgia Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent the University of Georgia. The female athletic teams are sometimes referred to as Lady Bulldogs. The Bulldogs compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Southeastern Conference. The official mascot is an English Bulldog named Uga,, while the costumed character version of Uga is Hairy Dawg.
The university sponsors nineteen sports – baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s equestrian, football, men’s and women’s golf, women’s gymnastics, women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track, and women’s volleyball. Those 19 teams have won a combined 47 national championships and 173 Southeastern Conference championships. University students have also won 56 Olympic medals.
In 2006, the Bulldogs recorded the highest profit margin of any athletic program in the country, pulling in $23.9 million.
