The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area. The Commanders compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference East division. Since the 1991 season, when the team last won the Super Bowl, they have won the NFC East four times, had a winning record in nine seasons and reached the postseason in seven.
